More Than A Joke

 

Friday 2nd of October 2020 ,a bright and sunny day it was ..while the nation celebrated its 60th year of being independent,her citizens wondered if they (the nation and its people) had anything worth celebrating!! To make the matter more interesting,the city where I am ,did not even want to participate in the so - called celebration by the way this is not my main aim of writing this blog. Lets get down back on track 😁.  So I decided to go grocery shopping in market and I met this young lady in her early twenties.She was light skinned , average hight and chubby. I guess she was helping her mum or aunty to sell...She had some food items to sell,I was very much interested in buying from her...In the process of our transaction,she made a very disturbing statement. Which is the reason I decided to share some thoughts with you my Esteemed reader❤️..

Her statement was " I don tire for this life" she made that statement unconsciously twice.. Being a Holy Ghost filled person that I am 💃 ,I was disturbed in my spirit and I saw that as an opportunity to reach out to this young lady whom I was to buy foodstuffs from...

I asked her why she made that statement and if everything was alright. She said yes , though she was tired of her environment and needed to travel ...

I made her understand how valuable her life was and how she could have just stated that she was tired of her environment and not her life....I showed how important her words are and the impact it has on her life ,Weather or not she means them ...

Dear reader ❤️, have you been making careless statements lately ?

No matter how cool, funny,trendy the words may sound ,if it is negative and inconsistent with God's word then you shouldn't ulter them..

I did not mean it!!

It was a joke na...

Everyone is using it ...

Well here is what the Bible says

Matthew 12:37 On that day they will be told that they are either innocent or guilty because of the things they have said.

See how important your words are!!...Say what you mean and mean what you say.. Because you will give account for every word you say!!!

Words like- life no balance 🙄...Fear women, if no be true make I die ,I don don die oo etc....

Just because you said it and nothing happened doesn't mean nothing actually happened. 

Ecclesiastes 11:3 When the clouds are full of water, it rains.

When you speak ,you are filling up your clouds, and what happens when the cloud is full, it rains..

Back then in school, my fellow students would always make statements Like - I don't understand this course, I  read o, but I don't remember ,I hate that course or that lecture...they said these things base on how they felt about themselves,the course, school and even lectures.knowing fully well the power of my words, I never used any of such !!!!..And I saw the impact in my academics and am applying that to every area my Life...

It's not about just speaking positive words ..But it's more about saying What God has said about you!!!

The words You say today ,Shapes your tomorrow..

Don't talk carelessly!!!

What You say is what you get 

What You say is who you become..
