W) Hello, my name is Daniel Okoli also know as White Microphone - White Mic for short.
V )White Mic🤔😁 ! Your stage name is very uncommon and unique ..so can u kindly tell us how u came up with the name white mic and what it means to u.
W) Okay, well I was a secular rapper before I gave my heart to Christ and when I did I had a conversation with him, I told him I can't use the rap name I used in the world to rap about him now and he gave me these lines to explain my name;
"When you take a black mic and deep it in the blood of Jesus what you get us White Mic dripping with the blood of Jesus"
So I'm God's White Microphone, washed in the blood of the lamb
V) What an amazing transformation😎! What does music mean to u and why are u passionate about it,What has been Ur biggest achievement in life
W) Well music was just an art to me till I started watching movies and then back in junior secondary school I discovered rap music and found out that what I would watch in a three hour movie could be extensively spoken about in a four minutes rap song - It blew my mind and I fell in love with rap music that day.
My biggest achievement up till date would be when I ministered during the opening ceremony of the ICLC 2018 at the Love World convocation arena on the 21st of June which happened to be my birthday - Best birthday gift ever lol
V) Wow thats a global platform o🙌! When did u release Ur first single and what was the inspiration behind it
W) Okay as a gospel rapper it was sometime in August 2014 and my inspiration was to tell the world that I'm saved now. That rapper they used to know is now Born Again and rapping for Jesus.
V). Tell us about your new album, what makes it special and what we should expect from it
W) O wow, Born Free is a mixtape EP that has four songs and I feature great men on it - the award winning Tru South, Salem, Jasper and Strategee.... Born Free is a rap letter to the body of Christ reminding them that they are Born Free of sin, shame, sickness and the corruption of this world. It is also a call to those that haven't received this freedom to come drink of this free spring of life.
It's a master piece of rap and hip-hop art... Well written and most importantly filled with the Holy Ghost

V).What's your favourite song on this album and what is the inspiration behind it..
W) I love all of them to be honest but if I were to pick it would be the first track - GROW ft Tru South
And I love it so much because it's both an admonistion to the body of Christ and a reminder to me that I have to keep growing to attain greater realms of glory and manifest Christ fully to my world.

W) O that's ease - Tru South and he happens to be on the first track of the EP
Why because he has shown me a more excellent way of rapping about Jesus and being a true gospel activist...
Then of course KB, Sinach and Martin PK, the list is long but we will keep it at that 😉.
V)Which stage would u like to minister on and What award do u look forward to wining
W) Okay I'd love to minister at the Ippc, Lima award night and also at the experience.
W) And for the award - Love World Nation music award of course - LIMA

W)5 years... Well established as a force for the gospel in the rap industry, turning many to righteousess with singles, videos and albums.
Expression God in another dimension, unstopping deaf ears, opening blind eyes and healing the sick.
Top 100 partner in the love world nation and finally married with two kids at most 😉

W) That would be when I gave my business, career and everything about me back to Lord... I mean it was his already but I had to consciously tell myself hey White this life and all there is belongs to Jesus you are just the care taker, tye steward.
V).. what should Ur fans expect from u in this coming year
W) I don't really like the word fans I prefer supporters and friends 😉 lol... Well expect new EP's and music videos and of course the miraculous
V) what would you like to say to someone whose going to be listening to any of the songs on the album
W) Enjoy the letter...it's a spirit filled experience so enjoy it and share it with someone else
V) finally😁, what would you like to say those who are looking up to u and wondering how they can get to this level u in..
W) Walk with the Holy Spirit... He has the blue print to your life - this level you see me at is a function of Grace and Grind... So work, watch and pray alot. Life is easy when you follow the manual 😊
